Hi! Im Nazar. I majored in Toy Design and Fine arts at F.I.T in NY, NY. After interning for Mattel in California, I went on to design at local toy companies near my hometown in NJ, where I worked for nearly three years. Later I moved on to one of my favorite toy companies, Spin Master, in Los Angeles, designing for the #1 preschool property on air, Paw Patrol.
LA was an amazing experience- having the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most talented designers in the industry propelled my career forward, and eventually led me back to NYC as a Designer for BARK.
BARK is THE dog toy company. We create for millions of subscribers in our monthly box program as well as retail giants like Target, PetCo, Costco, etc. In any given year I am personally leading the design direction of multiple skus across several lines.
When I’m not designing, you can find me somewhere in the woods, camping or hiking, on a mountain, snowboarding, or planning my next trip to some remote part of the globe. Although I work in the pet space, I love designing for kids, and am currently taking on freelance work in children’s toys, so please feel free to reach out :)
